WVU School of Medicine is expanding its Gastroenterology program in Charleston, West Virginia, with a fully booked practice, strong regional demand, and excellent clinical support. Choose an academic faculty appointment or a clinical-focused role, with opportunities in both general and advanced GI, including ERCP and EUS.
The Position at a Glance
- Flexible appointment: University faculty track with academic and GME involvement, or a straight clinical appointment
- Advanced endoscopy: ERCP and EUS proficiency preferred, with a fully equipped suite on-site
- Strong support: Inpatient NP team handles consults and rounding, plus a dedicated clinic APP and GI coordinator
- Schedule: 4.5-day workweek with shared call, and additional call available if you want to earn more
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary at the MGMA 75th percentile, plus RVU production incentives
- $100,000 sign-on bonus or up to $150,000 in student loan repayment
- Residency/fellowship stipend
- 403(b), health, and dental coverage

Who Should Apply
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for West Virginia medical licensure
